Translating Knowledge

Throughout Dr. Dell’s time as a researcher, she has contributed significantly to educational literature, ranging from peer-reviewed journal papers to magazine articles.  She has also shared her work on numerous working committees. Her scholarship mainly concentrates in the areas of:

  • Substance use, problematic use and abuse
  • Volatile substance misuse
  • Harm reduction
  • Self-harm
  • Indigenous healing & programming
  • Health promotion & prevention
  • Animal assisted interventions, including equine assisted learning & canine therapy

  • Criminalized women
  • Program evaluation

Dr. Dell has also given many lectures and presentations and offered workshops on these topics to various audiences locally, nationally, and internationally.
